2024 Dasara Festival Date. The holiday dates for the bathukamma and dasara festival have been announced by the telangana government. Meanwhile, the dasara procession will commence at 2.10pm on oct 12 after the cm performs the nandi dhwaja puja at the north gate of the mysuru palace between 1.41pm and 2.10pm.

Dasara is the tenth day and the final day which marks the end of the sharad navratri festival. The dasara festivities culminate on the night of vijayadashami with a torchlight parade, locally known as panjina kavayatthu.
